About Townson Tractors
Over 36 Years in the tractor business!
Townson Tractors started trading at Newton-in-Bowland, Lancs
in 1969, selling & repairing used tractors to local &
international customers. In 1983 we acquired the Ford
Tractor franchise, due to expansion we moved to our present
site at Hellifield, Skipton, North Yorkshire in March 1985.
We are a family run business specialising within the
Agricultural Industry providing a friendly expert advise on
Sales, Exports, Servicing, Repairs and Parts to all our
customers locally and internationally.
Over the years we have built up an excellent reputation for
quality service. Our expertise & knowledge of shipping and
documentation in exporting tractors & equipment enable our
firm to provide all our overseas customers with excellent
standard of service.
We now employ approximately twenty five people within our
different departments. We also run a fleet of vehicles
including service and parts vehicles and a Low Loader with
the capacity to transport tractors, combines and machinery.
Our Main Franchise’s are :- New Holland, JCB, KV (Taarup),
Kuhn, Pottinger, Ktwo, AS.Marston, Opico, Primex,
Schuitemaker, McHale, Yamaha ATV & Logic.
